What I do in my spare time
In my free time, I like to work on open-source projects and to support student conferences. Below, you will find a selection of conferences that I helped with, as well as some of my open-source projects.
Some of my recent open-source work
IdeaLab! – WHU Founders' Conference
IdeaLab! – WHU Founders' Conference is an annual entrepreneurship congress entirely organized by Students of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
Campus for Finance – WHU New Year's Conference 2017
The WHU New Year's Conference is an international finance conference that engages students, academics, corporate representatives and politicians in the discussion of contemporary economic topics.
Campus for Finance – WHU Private Equity Conference 2017
The WHU Private Equity Conference brings together students, academics, corporate representatives and politicians to create a unique platform for discussing current topics in the private equity sector.
WHU Euromasters
WHU Euromasters is Europe's largest sports event for business schools. It combines competitive sports within several disciplines, amazing parties, as well as great career opportunities!
Selected open-source projects
Open-Source NodeJS API
GPSoverIP is a German company that develops custom protocols to track and transmit GPS data over the internet. They offer APIs for a variety of languages but not for Javascript, the language that I mainly use. The API Javascript was used to coordinate WHU – Euromasters 2015.
RADIUS package for Meteor
There is no built-in way to use RADIUS authentication in MeteorJS, but especially in corporate networks, RADIUS is very common. The package implements a callback for radtest in Meteor. Use with caution, as input validation is NOT handled by the package.
